Volunteers are the backbone of a successful conference!

Sponsor Committee:

• Outreach to potential sponsors, leveraging existing networks and exploring new opportunities to secure financial support.
• Ensure sponsors receive the agreed-upon recognition and benefits outlined in the Prospectus.
• Maintain comprehensive records of sponsor agreements, communications, and feedback to inform future sponsorship efforts.
• Support Sponsors leading up to and during Conference as they set-up and exhibit in the Expo Center.

Speaker Committee:

• Promote call for speakers, review submissions, and select speakers in alignment with the conference's themes, diversity goals, and quality standards.
• Work with speakers to ensure they are fully prepared for their presentations, including technical requirements, rehearsal schedules, and content guidelines.
• Ensure feedback is obtained from attendees to assess speaker performance and inform future speaker selection processes.
• Support Speakers leading up to and during Conference as they set-up and deliver in their respective breakout sessions.

Event Production Committee:

• Assist with venue setup, organizing signage, technology needs, and accommodation arrangements.
• Serve as a point of contact for vendors, ensuring all services are delivered on time and as agreed.
• Quickly address and resolve issues that arise during the event, from logistical challenges to attendee concerns.
• Support post-event breakdown including vendor check-out and equipment returns.
• Ensure feedback from participants, sponsors and volunteers is channeled appropriately.
