Certification Boot Camp (Pre-Conference Workshop)

Join us for an intensive, full-day Certification Boot Camp designed to help you prepare for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam—whether you’re testing for the first time or gearing up for a retake. This is not a full certification course, but rather a focused, high-impact review session to help you pull it all together.

Perfect for those who have already completed a certification course (though not required), this boot camp is ideal if you:

• Need a structured, comprehensive refresher
• Struggle with test anxiety and want to feel more confident
• Want to reinforce key concepts and exam strategies before testing

Throughout the day, we’ll revisit essential topics, clarify complex concepts, and provide practical insights to help you approach the exam with clarity and confidence.

Bonus: All attendees will receive a recording of the boot camp to revisit as they continue preparing.

Important Notes:

• This boot camp does not include study materials. Participants are encouraged to bring their own certification resources or purchase materials in advance if needed.
• While designed with prior course participants in mind, anyone preparing for the SHRM exam is welcome.

Boot Camp Only (without conference registration):

Parking Details: Set your map address to 317 W 20th St, Austin, TX 78705. Park in the Rowling Hall Garage on levels B5 or B6 for access to the Zlotnik Family Ballroom, then take the Zlotnik Family Ballroom elevator to B4. Both the Welcome Reception on Thursday and the Conference on Friday occur in this location.

Use of Photographic Images

Attendance and participation in Austin SHRM events constitute an agreement by the attendee to Austin SHRM’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, and/or electronic reproductions.  Images and videos may be used on the Austin SHRM website, social media and for other purposes.  Attendees waive, release and forever discharge Austin SHRM from and against claims or actions arising out of or resulting from any use of attendee’s image.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees are refundable prior to Friday, July 24, 2026 minus a $50.00 administration fee.  Registration fees may not be applied to other events but may be transferred to another person at the same company.  These changes must be requested via email to support@austinshrm.org.

If transferring to another individual, higher registration fees may apply if membership level is different from the original registrant.
