Important Membership Note
AHRMA Membership voted in April of 2005 to return AHRMA to a Calendar system of membership renewal, in effect, designating January as dues renewal month for all members. We believe an annual renewal date will be a more efficient and convenient model for renewing membership. Having annual renewal in January will answer many questions for members, automatically, on dues renewal, and free more time and energy for creative outreach for AHRMA’s volunteer Membership Committee.
AHRMA prefers Renewals be submitted online.
This keeps overhead costs and membership fees down. Thank you for your support!
Renewing members may pay on-line with a credit card or print an invoice and mail a check to the AHRMA office. Contact Tammy Fraser (membership@austinhumanresource.org), VP Membership, with questions.
Please see membership dues below.
Membership Dues: All renewals are due in January. New application membership dues include a $25 non-refundable application fee.

What is AHRMA?
The Austin Human Resource Management Association (AHRMA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the human resource management profession. AHRMA is the local affiliate of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the leading voice of the human resource management profession. AHRMA is one of Texas’ largest and most dynamic SHRM®-affiliated chapters, having received several awards, including SHRM’s Superior Merit Award for outstanding chapter achievement. Established in 1950, the Association’s membership now exceeds 800 individuals throughout the Greater Austin area.
AHRMA is the premier association driving the Human Resource Profession to a position that is critical to organizational success. We develop professionals and provide opportunities to contribute to each other, our organization, and our communities.
AHRMA Mission Statement and Objectives:
